THE FUTURE is screening Recession Cookie, an international program of short cinema at VERSION FEST. If you missed the debut in NYC, now's your chance to see this eclectic selection from all around the globe. Come for the films, stay for the music!
Featured filmmakers are Magnus Aronson (Sweden), Joff Winterhart (U.K.), Raida Adon (Palestine), Phil Mulloy (U.K.), Shoval Zohar (Israel), Krisma Music (Italy), Waverly Films (U.S.), Chris Sullivan (U.S.), Jerzy Rose (U.S.), and selections from McSweeney's Wholphin DVD Magazine. Produced and curated by Matthew Silver, Agnes Starczewski and Shoval Zohar.

If you missed the debut in NYC, now's your chance to catch THE FUTURE at VERSION FEST! The event features Bent Mirror, an eclectic mix of films that teeter from the poetic to the boisterous. This program is an extension of Recession Cookie, featuring more works by many of the same filmmakers.... from other parts of the globe are Mikhail Kobakhidze (Georgia), Raida Adon (Palestine), Shoval Zohar (Israel), Nir Nadler (The Netherlands), Magnus Aronson (Sweden), Phil Mulloy (U.K.), and Krisma Music (Italy). Featured filmmakers from the U.S. are Waverly Films, Matthew Silver, Chris Sullivan, and selections from McSweeney's Wholphin DVD Magazine. Produced and curated by Matthew Silver, Agnes Starczewski and Shoval Zohar.

This event also features The Best of Rotterdam VHS Film Festival. Come on out for both!
